Brief descriptions often say standard parts, what do you know?
Standard parts refer to the commonly used parts, such as screw parts, keys, pins, rolling bearings, etc., which have been fully standardized in structure, size, drawing method, marking and other aspects, and are produced by professional factories. In a broad sense, it includes standardized fasteners, connectors, transmission parts, seals, hydraulic components, pneumatic components, bearings, springs and other mechanical parts. The narrow sense includes only standardized fasteners. The standard parts commonly known in China are short for standard fasteners, which are narrow concepts, but the existence of broad concepts cannot be excluded. In addition, there are industry standard parts, such as automotive standard parts, mold standard parts, etc., which also belong to the generalized standard parts.
The narrow standard parts are standardized fasteners, which are actually a kind of connecting parts, but because of the wide variety of applications, they are actually used in the single calculation category, or even simply referred to as standard parts.
Bolt: A type of fastener composed of a head and a screw. It needs to be matched with a nut to fasten and connect two parts with through holes. This form of connection is called a bolt connection. If the nut is unscrewed from the bolt, the two parts can be separated, so the bolt connection is a detachable connection.
Stud: a type of fastener that has no head and only has threads on both ends. When connecting, one end of it must be screwed into a part with an internal threaded hole, the other end passes through a part with a through hole, and then screw on the nut, even if the two parts are tightly connected to form a whole. This form of connection is called a stud connection and is also a detachable connection. It is mainly used in the occasions where one of the connected parts has a large thickness and requires a compact structure, or due to frequent disassembly, bolt connection is not suitable.
Screw: It is also a type of fastener composed of a head and a screw. It can be divided into three categories according to the use: machine screws, set screws and special purpose screws. The machine screw is mainly used for the fastening connection between a part with a threaded hole and a part with a through hole. The nut is not required to cooperate with the set screw. It is mainly used to fix the relative position between the two parts. Special purpose screws such as eye bolts are used for lifting parts.
Nut: with internal threaded hole, the shape is generally shown as a flat hexagonal column, or a flat square column or a flat cylinder, with bolts, studs or machine screws, used to fasten and connect two parts, making it One piece.
